LS 624: Low Salt Liquid Starter
- 6% Nitrogen
- 24% Phosphate
- 6% Potassium
- 100% water soluble, low salt index, seed safe
- Plant available in cooler soils
- Helps get crops up and out of the ground quicker
- Timing: Applied in-furrow at seeding (can also be used with XRN products as a foliar to bump up phos levels)

How does foliar nutrition work?
A foliar application increases Chlorophyll on the leaf, which is the green pigment in the plant. The chlorophyll acts like a tiny greenhouse, it helps trap photons on the leaf longer, we’re talking about nano seconds longer, but doing this dramatically increases the rate of photosynthesis. Increased photosynthesis will increase the water & nutrient uptake through the roots. This in turn increases the size of the leaves and biomass which in-turn results in more photosynthesis.
Foliar feeding is not a new concept, it’s been around since 1844. You can’t supply all your nutritional needs through foliar feeding; it should be used as part of a complete nutrition plan for your fields to go along with soil applied fertilizers.

KQ-XRN – The Key to Foliar Feeding
The base for all Kugler foliar products is KQ-XRN, which stands for Kugler quality extended release nitrogen.
It is 28% nitrogen and of that blend 72% is slow release.
It is urea based, but unlike top-dress fertilizers, it is not urea in water, but a low salt polymer solution that contains no water. These complex polymer chains are broken down by UV light giving it the slow release and prevents the burning of leaves.

KQ-XRN
- 28-0-0 (72% slow release nitrogen)

Plant health
- When XRN is mixed with chloride it protects plants from disease the same as most fungicides
- You can protect your plants and give them a nutrient boost at a lower cost

- Rate: 1.5 gallons/acre
- Crops: Cereals, canola, and legumes

KS 153C
- 15% Nitrogen (72% slow release)
- 3% Phosphorus
- 3% Potassium
- 4% Chloride
- Timing: fungicide timing for crop (or slightly earlier)
- Rate: 1.5 gallons/acre
- Crops: Cereals, canola, and legumes

The perfect delivery system
Kugler KQ-XRN® is very compatible with most insecticides, herbicides and fungicides – making it The Perfect Delivery System™ for providing a powerful combination of crop protection and fertility in one application.
- Stickability
- Timing with pesticides
- Helps pesticides work better (glyphosate) by keeping them on the plant longer
